Eddie Conard has earned more then his achievements in the music business.
The R&B soul background flows like blood through his arteries and on many local and international stages has made his mark as percussionist and vocalist.
Already at a young age Eddie knew he wanted to be in the music business at from the age of 7 began trying different instruments but eventually making percussion his home base.
At the age of 17 he did his first studio session before eventually coming to the Netherlands as an exchange student but followed his heart to become a session musician and worked with The Pointer Sisters, The Tramps , Tavares, Gino Vannelli and many Dutch artists like Lee Towers, Jan Akkerman , Herman Brood, Rene Foger and Candy Dulfer just to name few.
The Belgium music magazine Stage gave Eddie the Stage award for his lifetime achievement in the business as Percussionist of all Ages which was a very prestigious award seldom given to a session musician.
Eddie C is still one of the most asked session musicians for live and studio productions.
His value for vocalists like Al Jarreau and Stevie wonder are clear inspiration to hear in his own productions as vocalist but has found his own definite sound and style over the past years in the the industry.
In 2014 Eddie appeared in “The Voice “ of Holland with the Marvin Gaye hit “ What’s Going On “in his own style.
Eddie hasn’t stood still and is composing, producing, coaching young talent and as performing artist.
